GAP log — why it matters

Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) records are required for food-as-medicine contracts, farmers market permits, and USDA compliance. Log one entry per day you work.

Scan the QR sticker at each location to prove you were physically present. Auditors look for this. Print location stickers from Labels / Print.

What to check

Pre-op — before production starts each day
Sanitation — surfaces, trays, tools with food-safe solution
Temperature — cooler, grow room, water temp
Pest — no insects, rodent activity, or contamination
Water — source quality, irrigation check
Visitor — log any visitors entering production areas
Illness — illness/injury report for workers

VAPG grant requirement

Your USDA VAPG grant requires documented food safety practices. This log is your evidence. Log every production day — even short ones.
